Arranging the funeral of a loved one is a precious gift – the last you give them.
Whatever you have in mind – perhaps you’re not even sure yourself yet – I’m here to support and guide you. Together we can create a meaningful and loving funeral ceremony, scattering of ashes or memorial service that truly honours the memory of someone who is special to you.
You might even want to consider your own funeral arrangements. That way, you’ll spare your family the worry of trying to second-guess what kind of send-off you want when they are grieving. They will take comfort from following your wishes.
I’m passionate about making sure everyone understands they have options when it comes to arranging a funeral. You don’t have to use a funeral director. You don’t have to use a celebrant. There are no rights or wrongs for the ceremony itself.
Here, or on Facebook and on Twitter, I tell you as much as possible about how funerals are arranged and what choices you have – after all, knowledge is power.
If you’re actively arranging a funeral or have questions, please contact me. I’m qualified to the highest accredited standard (Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy) and, as a member of the Institute of Civil Funerals (IoCF), have full Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance. I also have DBS certification.
I have dozens of positive testimonials from families and funeral directors, and I am the only funeral celebrant in Swale, Maidstone and Medway with the right to wear the IoCF gold badge, a symbol of excellence.
I work mainly in Kent and surrounding counties but I’m happy to travel or to recommend an IoCF celebrant in your area.
